In the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, the
Chinese short video app TikTok – owned by ByteDance – has surpassed
the 2,000 million downloads, reported Wednesday the TechCrunch portal.
Also, TikTok has signed in 2020
best quarter ever for an app with over 315,000
installations on the App Store and Google Play. The application records this data
just five months after it topped 1.5 billion downloads.
The country that has downloaded the most
application is India, with 611 million, which represents more than 30% of
total. It is followed by China and the United States, with 196.6 and 165 million
facilities, respectively. Most of these downloads (75.5%) are
have made through the Google Play platform.
In total, TikTok has obtained
revenues of more than 456 million dollars since its appearance. The country
Asian leads the list of nations that contribute more money to the application,
with 331 million dollars, followed by the USA and the United Kingdom, with 86.5 and 9
million dollars, respectively.

China continues the upward trend it already experienced last year. “The
