Just in case you missed it, this week the new trailer for Tenet, the next Christopher Nolan movie, and although he sins of the typical defect of the trailers showing more than he should, knowing who directs -produces and writes-, the only thing he has managed is to put his teeth in the fans of the British work, if possible they are more.

Be aware, alluding to the headline, that Dunkirk was a great movie, that Interstellar is arguably the most wonderful science fiction story filmed since 2001: A Space Odyssey, and that the Batman trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight , The Dark Knight Rises) is likewise the best thing ever done in the superhero genre… But Nolan is also Memento and Inception, and there go the shots with Tenet.

Written, produced and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet has a luxurious cast in which its protagonist is the least known and short-lived: John David Washington, son of Denzel Washington but with very little career behind him, although in recent years He has featured in films like The Old Man & the Gun or more especially BlacKkKlansman (Infiltrated in the KKKlan). Of course, he is surrounded by Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh or Robert Pattinson.

Another interesting name related to Tenet is that of the Swedish composer Ludwig Göransson, undeserved winner of the Oscar for the best soundtrack for Black Panther, but responsible for the fantastic setting and melodies of The Mandalorian.

Be that as it may, the most promising thing about Tenet is not its cast or the technical and artistic cast; not even the action and espionage story that he raises, because as usual in Nolan, they are not the stories that he tells, quite simple in essence, but how does he count them, which really catches the viewer. And knowing his career and watching this second Tenet trailer …

Tenet will premiere next July 17, only in theaters -Nolan is a staunch defender of cinema as a concept against video on demand- and only if the coronavirus allows it, needless to add. Without more, below you can see, or see again, the trailer for the movie.

I don’t know
