Sony has unveiled its new portable Bluetooth speaker solutions. There are three new models XB23, XB33 and XB43, which offer a Brand new design, better waterproofing and more powerful sound.
The smallest and cheapest of the trio is also the most portable. The biggest news is the new speaker unit that Sony calls X-Balanced and that maximizes the diaphragm area, plus extra bass boost with new passive radiators on the sides. Supports Sony’s Party Connect mode, which can group up to 100 connected speakers.
It is certified for IP67 water, dust, drop and rust resistance, which means you can take it to salt water areas like the sea and not have to worry about corrosion. It is charged through a USB Type-C port and offers up to 12 hours of autonomy.
Sony will offer it in five color finishes, black, blue, red, gray and green, and it is available in some regions with a price of 99 dollars.
The intermediate model is considerably larger than its predecessor (XB32), more than 20%, and employs new oval drivers and the XB23’s passive bass system, promising greater sound clarity, bass and more volume.
It also supports Party Connect to connect up to 100 speakers, while the quirky lights from the previous version have been replaced by a sleeker line through the case edges and the drivers themselves. It is charged through USB Type-C, has a range of up to 24 hours and can charge external devices with another USB Type-A port. It will be offered in black, blue, red and gray color finishes, and can be booked by $ 149.
The largest of the three is 30% larger than its predecessor and uses a square design. Sony has moved the passive radiator and added two tweeters to clarify the sound. It offers IP67 water, dust and rust resistance, but not shock resistance like the two lower models.
It also has USB-C charge for 24 hours of autonomy and supports Party Connect to connect up to 100 speakers. Chassis, speaker and twitter have a programmable light line to the rhythm of the music through an app for iOS and Android. It will be available in black, blue and taupe, priced at $ 249.
The new Sony portable Bluetooth speakers look good and the sound quality is safe. A line that is renewed year after year and that allows you to play your music anytime, anywhere.
