Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki and WandaVision were the next big three installments of Marvel that we would see in Disney +. The pandemic has made us have to wait to finally see them, since filming and productions had to be paralyzed. But now it has been reported that the machinery has started up again and the waiting period is shortened.

Liz Hill, a Marvel expert, announced on Twitter that the productions of the Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki series have been resumed. As for WandaVision, filming is known to resume in the coming weeks.

The nearest release date is Falcon and Winter Soldier, which is scheduled for August. The director Kari Skogland (50 dead men) has signed on to direct all six episodes of this miniseries. John Wick creator Derek Kolstad also joined the series creative team.

It is said that the miniseries will continue with the events of Avengers: Endgame, something very important if we consider what happened with Falcon in this movie. Along with Mackie and Stan, the series will star Daniel Brühl and Emily VanCamp like Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter, respectively.

VanCamp played agent Sharon Carter, Peggy Carter’s niece in both Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). For his part, Brühl made his UCM debut in Civil War as Helmut Zemo, a Sokovian soldier who becomes a terrorist. In the comics, Baron Zemo is a frequent enemy of the Cap, Falcon, and Winter Soldier.

We were all excited by recent news Paul Bettany had to cancel a July comiccon due to WandaVision filming. I’ve just learned that #Loki and #FalconAndtheWinterSoldier are also expected to continue filming in July. This is a new source for me & I must keep it anon but I believe it! pic.twitter.com/nayj453ZaI

WandaVision It is scheduled for December. But in recent days we have seen some information that confirms that filming has started again. These indications come from the fact that Paul Bettany (Vision) has canceled its appearance in the Tampa Bay Comic-Con, which will take place next July. The Facebook of the event itself has explained that “Disney is calling its teams to return to work” claiming that this is the main reason for Bettany’s withdrawal from the event. It is curious because it was initially hinted that WandaVision had finished filming before the pandemic. But it seems that there is still something to film.

It was also recently announced that Evan Peters would appear on WandaVision in what appears to be a critical role. Although no official mention has been made of Quicksilver, his character in the Marvel movies, it seems quite likely that he will be portrayed again. Peters played the super fast hero in X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix.

Finally, to see again Loki we will have to wait even more. Beside Tom HiddlestonUCM newcomers Sophia Di Martino (rumored to be playing Lady Loki), Cailey Fleming, Owen Wilson, Richard E. Grant, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Michael Waldron (‘Rick and Morty’) is in charge of writing the script for this new series of six episodes, all directed by Kate Herron (‘Sex Education’). It is confirmed that the series will have relevance within the UCM, since Kevin Feige revealed earlier this year that the series will be linked to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Although we don’t know if Hiddleston will also appear in the Doctor Strange sequel or not.
