Google Nest Wifi is the new proposal from the Internet giant to improve wireless connections at home. It has just landed in the European market (Spain included) and is an interesting solution for the user looking for a complete and integrated wireless network solution.
Google Nest Wifi follows in the footsteps of Google Wifi wireless routers, with which the Internet giant entered the consumer network market a few years ago and improves it at all levels. Includes router and necessary access points to guarantee the best coverage anywhere in the home.
As you know, the router is a fundamental part of our local network infrastructure and the gateway to the Web and Internet services. The network equipment provided by telecommunications operators when we contract their services is usually basic, of low quality and limited. If the wired connection usually works correctly, we cannot say the same for the wireless connection and, furthermore, soon after you get away from the router, the drop in performance is usually noticeable.
Hence, many users strengthen their home network with more advanced third-party routers and add additional access points, either by buying signal repeaters or by using neutral router techniques to improve the coverage and quality of the wireless network.
Google Nest Wifi is an “all in one” solution that offers everything we need, since it is a Scalable system that creates a mesh network, promising a safe, stable and uninterrupted signal throughout the house. These mesh networks offer greater coverage than traditional routers, creating by creating a high-power connection that works together to determine the best path between drives and data.
A Nest Wifi router with a Wifi point has enough capacity to support up to 200 connected devices and a speed with which you can stream multiple 4K videos at the same time. The solution connects to the fastest Wifi point and reduces buffering when you go from one room to another, and also always select the channel with the least traffic and the fastest band to avoid network saturation.
