Just yesterday saw the premiere of the third season of Conqueror’s Blade, a free MMO game that debuted in 2019 and combines touches of action and strategy in real time with a first class graphic finish.

The third season comes under the name of Soldiers of Fortune “Soldiers of Fortune” in a direct translation, and maintains the game-as-a-service approach with totally free content that Conqueror’s Blade has displayed since its launch.

It is important to note that, as with most free games, Conqueror’s Blade has micropayments, and that these affect the game. You can have a pretty good experience without spending money, but this will take more hours.

That said, we are ready to go see the news that includes:

New weapon, the war mallet: a hammer to strike two hands that will crush defenses and wreak havoc on enemy ranks. It is available for both male and female characters and can be unlocked with the Battle Pass or as a free reward at level 25 – no purchase required.
New rewards: Those with the Battle Pass will be able to obtain unique cosmetic accessories, available only during the third season. In addition to the war deck and challenges to unlock new units, there is a wide selection of exclusive items to earn. Over 100 levels of rewards will be available this season, giving access to new outfits for heroes and units inspired by “Soldiers of Fortune.”
Five new units and artillery: Four new seasonal units inspired by the Italian Renaissance have been introduced, which can be unlocked through the Battle Pass. These mercenaries come from Sicania, their pockets are lined with gold and their famous reputation precedes them. Completing special challenges will unlock these new units, which will be permanently recruited: Crossbowmen with Pavés (Level 5), charge enough to afford heavy shields and crossbows capable of breaking through chain mail; Fortebraccio Boobies (Level 4), are cavalry assassins named after the fallen captain Mastino Fortebracci, a legendary soldier of fortune; condotieros (Level 3), are well-balanced swordsmen in attack and defense, usually the first to charge and the last to retreat; Falconetti Gunners (Level 5), are the first artillery unit, armed with the latest in firepower and can penetrate enemy ranks like a hot knife in butter, and finally a new unit that we can purchase with Silver or Sovereigns In the unit tree, the Martellatori (Tier 1), builders who can push siege engines and easily damage less skilled enemies.
For new players There will be level 3 and 4 units that can be unlocked totally free. Later, Ranked Matchmaking will be presented, with technology to improve tiered matches.

Those responsible for Conqueror’s Blade have also confirmed that with the next updates they will introduce graphical improvements, details, unit rebalancing and optimizations to improve performance.

Conqueror’s Blade is available for free through Steam, although to play it we will need a pretty powerful team.
