Razer has updated the Blade Stealth 13 to offer what it claims to be “the world’s most powerful Ultrabook.” The manufacturer specializing in high-performance equipment has taken care of these compact form factor machines like few others, but the new model has a more impressive set of features than ever.

Razer maintains screen size of 13.3 inch with ultra-slim 4.9mm bezels and offers it in two different panels. One for games with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz and another more focused on multimedia creation and entertainment tasks with 4K resolution, Gorilla Glass protection, 100% coverage of the sRGB color space and factory calibration.

The Blade Stealth 13 equips a tenth-generation Intel (10nm Ice Lake) model Core i7-1065G7 quad-core, eight-wire processor with clock speeds of up to 3.9Ghz when using Intel Turbo Boost technology. In addition to the integrated Iris Plus graphics, it mounts a dedicated GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, which promises 80% more performance than the GTX 1050.

It’s a Max-Q design, so it won’t have the same level of performance as a desktop GPU, but it should still be pretty solid. It is accompanied by 16 GB of RAM Dual-channel LPDDR4X, with clock speed increased to 3,733 MHz. For internal storage includes 512 GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

The keyboard has also been updated with a full-size right shift key and half-height arrow keys for a faster and more efficient typing experience. Equipped with single-zone Razer Chroma RGB backlighting, the keyboard can be customized to match any of the 16.8 million colors and unique lighting effects available in Razer Synapse 3.

In the section of connectivity highlights the support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, USB 3.1 type C and type A ports, a webcam with IR sensor and connected with Windows Hello for authentication tasks, and Thunderbolt 3 port, which the company focuses on mounting external graphics such as a Razer Core X eGPU. The battery is 53.1 Wh and leaves a total weight of 1.41 kg, in a typical black aluminum chassis of the company.

Blade Stealth 13, price and availability

With Windows 10 pre-installed, the new ultraportable is available now at Razer.com and at select resellers in the United States and Canada, and is coming soon to Europe, China, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Its official price is not of economic range and rises to 1,799 dollars / 1,999 euros.
