Amazon continues betting on new formats to attract clients to its services in Mexico. Yesterday we met the launch of the Prime Video movie store and today they announce a new free Amazon Music mode, where the most interesting thing is that it is for everyone, regardless of whether they do not have Prime benefits or an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
This new free Amazon Music mode will offer streaming music at no cost to anyone who enters the service. Of course, we will need to open an Amazon account, but it will not be necessary to register a credit card or other form of payment.
Amazon now has three ways to offer streaming music
It should be noted that the new free mode of Amazon Music includes ads and will not have the entire catalog offered by the other two subscription modes. Amazon explains that this modality will offer “a selection of playlists and thousands of free stations”, so some artists and songs will not be available.
Among what is available on Amazon Music Free we have:
‘Lo que suena’, the most important songs of the moment ‘SONOS Pop’, music for lovers of Latin pop ‘Latin Fire’, the most popular hits of the best Latin artists ‘Nectar’, the most recent and best dance floor.
To access Amazon Music Free we can do it from Echo devices or speakers compatible with Alexa, as well as from the Amazon Music app on Android or iOS, Fire TV or from our computer entering music.amazon.com.mx.
With this new modality, this is the current Amazon Music plans in Mexico:
Amazon Music Unlimited: more than 60 million songs, without ads and with unlimited access for 99 pesos a month Amazon Prime Music: more than two million songs, without ads and included for members with Prime membership. Amazon Music Free: limited catalog, with ads and available at no cost to anyone.
